If you lost the Authenticator App on your computer/phone or if for any reason you cannot use your phone (e.g., battery flat or you lost your phone), there are a few alternative ways to log into your ZIVVER account.
Use the sms code as extra login method
- After logging in with your email address and password you can choose for an alternative authentication method. This is only applicable if you have previously set up the SMS-code as an extra login method as well.
Use your back-up codes
- When you activated your account and set up an extra login method, you received back-up codes. Normally, you can find these back-up codes in the folder “downloads” on your computer. Unless you saved them elsewhere at that time. Just search for the words “ZIVVER” and “back-up codes” in your downloads folder or any other folder you might have saved them in. You can fill in one of these back-up codes instead of the SMS-code or Authenticator app code.
Note! Did you manage to get access to your account? Make sure to set up a new extra login methode. Just go to go to Personal settings > Security, delete your old authenticator app and set up a new one.
Contact the helpdesk or the admin of your organization
- If you are part of an organization, you can contact the helpdesk of your organization to restore your account. (Or if you know who the ZIVVER admin for your organization is). Just send them the following link with instructions.
